Prescription Drugs Discounts
With the leadership
of Commissioners Wesley Prater and Kristen Judge, the County
Board of Commissioners adopted a discount prescription drug
program for any resident in Washtenaw County without the
expenditures of tax dollars.
The plan is sponsored by “CAREMARK” and provides discount prescription drug cards to any person not covered by insurance for prescription drugs. The discount is an average of 20% of the actual retail cost of the prescription and will be available at any business or place of religious worship who would wish to be a distributor when the card’s become available in late summer.
