In recent times, high unemployment, property devaluation and home foreclosures have placed an incredible financial burden on the residents of Washtenaw County.  In light of these circumstances, I believe it is incumbent upon all elected officials to vow that they will impose NO NEW COUNTY TAXES. 

In addition, I vow and call upon all elected officials to adopt my philosophy that County government must become more efficient and perform better with the limited tax dollars provided by the citizens.
